‘NATION FIRST, ALWAYS FIRST’, India will complete 75 years of Independence on 15th August 2022.

KAHER INSTITUTE OF NURSING SCIENCES, BELAGAVI and STUDENT COUNCIL of the

Institute celebrated the 75th Independence Day on 15th August 2022 in our Institute with strong pride and victory. As a symbol of tribute to Mahatma Gandhiji, a puja was held by Prof(Dr.) Sudha Raddi, Principal, Dean and all HOD’s of our Institute.

Guest of Honor, Mr. Rajeev Metri, Primary PCI Coordinator Cardiac Catheter Lab, County Councilor North Wales-United Kingdom, Dr. MV Jali, Medical Director and CEO KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital and MRC, Prof(Dr.) Sudha Raddi, Principal KAHER Institute Of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi, unfurled the tricolour flag at 8;30am with all the students standing in the shape of numerical ’75’ to highlight the 75 years of Independence.

The tri-coloured balloons were released in the air as a symbol of freedom. A patriotic song was sung by 3rd GNM students, followed by a speech by 1st year BSC Nursing student. The chief guest Mr. Rajeev Metri and family, Mr. Rajesh Malgatti were felicitated. Guest’s gave a motivational speech on the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers, struggle that India faced during pre and post-Independence, followed by Prof(Dr.) Sudha Raddi, enlightened us with her speech.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks and lastly, mixed packets along with sweets were distributed to the entire staff and students.
