Department of OBG Nursing, KAHER INS, organized seminar on “Youth Population Trends and Adolescent Health” on 18   ^th August 2023. First session was on “Importance of Adolescent Health” by Mrs. ShubharaniMuragod, Asst Professor, Dept of OBG Nursing; KAHER INS Belagavi followed by asession on the topic “Reproductive health” by Mrs. NirmalaD’souza, Asst Professor, Dept of OBG Nursing, KAHER INS Belagavi. The seminar was inaugurated by the guest of the event Dr. M. S. Shivaswamy, Prof. Dept of Community Medicine, KAHER, JNMC, Belagavi, Dr. VeereshkumarNandagaon, Principal and DrSangeetaKhardeVice Principal KAHER INS, Belagavi.

Followed by the session on “Adolescent Education Programme” by Dr. M. S. Shivaswamy. And the last section was on “Adolescent Nutrition” by Mrs. AshaBhat, Assoc. Professor, Dept of OBG Nursing, KAHER INS Belagavi. Event ended by clarifying the doubts of the students. Beneficiaries were 94 first year nursing students & 08 Nursing faculty.
