Department of Nursing Education (DONE), KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences organized Finishing School for Final Year B.Sc students from 15th to 20th July 2026.<\/p>\n

NABH Guest lecture by Dr. Rajshekar Somannati, Clinical Administrator, KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC, Belagavi. On 15\n th<\/sup> July 2026, Sir oriented the students regarding the importance of NABH, how the quality and standards are maintained in the hospital to minimize the infection and also importance of safety of patients and all staffs\n working in the hospital. Sir concluded with the importance of biomedical waste management.<\/p>\n

On 15\/07\/2026 to 18\/07\/2026 organized on Advance Nursing Procedures<\/strong> Simulation Skill Lab <\/strong>JNMC where Dr. Manjunath S, Mrs. Nirmala F., Dr. Umesh N. and Dr. Virupaxi S. trained the students in group\n advance procedures on simulators (CPR, AED, ET Tube insertion, Lumbar Puncture, Paracentesis, IUCD insertion, IV cannulation, New-born resuscitation and conducting normal delivery on high fidelity simulators where the Students redemonstrated.<\/p>\n

Department of Medical Surgical Nursing KAHER INS conducted sessions on Advance nursing procedures (Catheterization, IV cannulation, Ryles tube Insertion and feeding) from 15\/07\/2026 to 18\/07\/ 2026 by the faculty Mrs. Sheela N, Dr.\n Geeta D and Mrs. Preeti V. During the skill drill session, the students were trained in groups demonstration and re-demonstration in Fundamentals lab and Advance skill lab.<\/p>\n

Workshop on Soft skills was organized on 17\n th<\/sup> July 2026, Asha Bhat Associate professor, KAHER institute of Nursing sciences Belagavi, Dr. Amey Khande, Mrs. Nirmala Fernandes were the resource person. The sessions started with the importance of soft skills in daily\n life how to interact and treat others, develop positive interactions and interpersonal skills The topic were on communication, interpersonal skills self-confidence and personality development.<\/p>\n

Life skill training was conducted by Dr. Ashwini Narasannavar. NSS Programme Co-ordinator KAHER Belagavi. <\/strong>NSS Coordinator Dr. Nagraj Patil, JNMC on 16\n th<\/sup> July 2026 trained the students with different activities which helps students to understand and find new ways of thinking and problem solving.<\/p>\n

Workshop on conducted on \u201cNewborn resuscitation and identification of abnormal heart & lung sound\u201d, HBB, QCPR, and NG Tube Feeding<\/strong> by Department of Child Health Nursing on 20\n th<\/sup> July 2026, where Mrs. Jagdeesh H., Dr. Vaishli B., Dr. Umesh N, and Mr. Sanjay A. faculty from Department demonstrated the neonatal resuscitation (QCPR) and new-born skills to support babies that do not breath\n on their own after birth, NG Tube feeding skills, students redemonstrated the skills learnt. <\/p>\n

Department of OBG Nursing, KAHER INS, conducted sessions on 15\/07\/2026 to 18\/07\/ 2026 on Normal Labour, During the skill drill session, the students were trained in groups for demonstration and re-demonstration in OBG lab.<\/p>\n

Students were also rotated in Advance Simulation Skill Lab, Career Counselling was organized on 17\/07\/2026 by Victor Hospital, Madgaon Goa Total 106 students were beneficiaries.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
