NSS Special Camp from 16 th December 2024 To 22 nd December 2024.
NSS Unit 26 of the KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi organized the NSS special camp at Agasaga village from 16th December 2024 To 22 nd December 2024. The camp was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Veereshkumar Nandgaon, Principal,KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi, in the presence of Dr. Sayyed, Dr. NamrataDevulakar, Mr. Sanjeev Badli, Mr. Mahesh B, NSS programme officer, Govt Primary SchoolHead Master Mr. P.R. Chavan, Mrs. Malathi Kamble, Gram Panchayat President Mr. AmrutMuddannavar, Vice President Mrs. Shoba Kurennavar, SDMC President, Mr. Ramesh Patil,Mr. Jyothiba Gevade, and members of the Gram Panchayat and SDMC, who presided over the inaugural session.

The camp was based on the theme of health awareness, environmental hygiene, personal health, and women's empowerment. Various activities were conducted during the camp, including menstrual care and breast cancer screening, tree plantation, geriatric assessment, memory games for school children, diabetic screening, general health check-up, Poshan Abhiyan and school health assessment, CPR, and first aid training for the school faculty. Flag hosting was carried out daily, and street plays and sports and cultural programs were also held, and the prizes were distributed. NSS Volunteers, villagers, and students of the government school participated actively and benefitted from the camp.

The camp concluded with the village leader of Agasaga, Mr. Appayyagowda Patil,and Gram Panchayat members and school faculty. The village leader congratulated the NSS team for organizing the special camp and appreciated the hard work of the team.
