The Department of Community Health Nursing of the KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi, organized an activity-based program titled “Poshan Se Pehchaan” (Nurturing Children Through Nutrition, Play, and Learning) at Anganwadi Centre, Kinaye, on 17/12/2025. The program emphasized nutrition awareness, good habits, and learning through play. The objectives of the program were to promote awareness regarding nutrition and healthy habits, encourage learning through play-way methods, and improve memory, thinking ability, and creativity of children. The program commenced at 10:00 AM with a friendly interaction between student nurses and children to build rapport and conducted activities such as a treasure hunt and various games like puzzle games, memory games, etc.

The outcome of the program was Active participation and enthusiasm were observed among children, learning was made enjoyable and effective, awareness about good habits and nutrition was reinforced, and student nurses gained valuable community health experience. V semester B.Sc. Nursing students were actively involved in the event and made it successful.
