KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi NSS Unit organized Guest Lecture on Indian Constitution at KAHER INS Belagavi on 24/11/2023. Guest speaker for the programme was Ms. Roopa M Patil Advocate Dist. & Session courts Belagavi Practicing in Civil & Criminal side, spoke regarding Indian constitution. Around 200 NSS volunteers participated the programme.

KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, NSS Unit-4 Conducted Role play on Menstrual hygiene among adolescent girls, regarding Hygiene during menstruation is an inevitable part of woman’s life. Various aspects such as physiology, pathology and psychology of menstruation have been found to associate with health and well-being of women hence, it is an important issue concerning morbidity and mortality of female population and distributed sanitary pads to177 high school girls at Vantamuri village Belagavi on 31/10/2023

KAHER institute of nursing sciences Belagavi NSS Unit-4 along with Green saviour Association Belagavi conducted tree plantation drive at golf course Belagavi on 17/9/2023. Around 500 Saplings were planted. 30 NSS Volunteers actively participated

KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, NSS Unit-4 conducted Meri Maati Mera Desh program. Maati ka Naman Veeronka Abhinandan, felicitation of freedom fighters/sainik at Gajapati village and Organised essay and drawing competition on the account of Independence day. Encouraged the winners by distributing prizes at Govt Primary School Gajapati, Belagavi on 7-08-2023.

KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, NSS Unit-4 Celebrated National Tree plantation week by planting several trees in the premises of government primary school and gram panchayat at Gajapati Village, Belagavi on 4/7/2023.

NSS Unit-4,KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, in collaboration with Govt. Primary school conducted & participated in National Science day at govt primary school Gajapati.

Govt adopted village on 28/2/2023.

NSS Unit-4,KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi. conducted awareness program (Role play) on Alcoholism and its effects on society & youths & Prevention of communicable & non communicable diseases at Gajapati adopted Village Belagavi on 31/1/2023. Around 160 students & 200 villagers & 80 primary school children benefited from the program.

KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, NSS Unit-4, conducted Clean India Campaign at religious place Siddeshwar Temple Kanabargi Belagavi, NSS Volunteers actively participated the programme (Swachhata Abhiyan)on 12/10/2022.

KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi. NSS Unit-4, in collaboration with KLE Venudhwani F.M. Radio station & Water & Sanitation Dept, Govt. of Karnataka conducted Rally and awareness on swachhata hi seva, plastic ban & proper use of water and sanitation. NSS Volunteers actively participated in cleaning of school premises (Swachhata Abhiyan) at Mastmaradi village Belagavi and planted trees in the school premises on 29/9/2022.

All the students and teachers from High school Mastmaradi, ASHA workers, Staffs from KLE venudwani Radio station, Panchyat leaders, NSS volunteers & Faculty from KAHER INS Belagavi were attended the program.

KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, NSS Unit -4 Administered NSS pledge to the new volunteers on the occasion of National NSS Day on 24th Sept 2022 at KHER INS Belagavi. Pledge administered by Mr. Gururaj Udupi Asso Prof department of MHN & all the faculties were present during the program.

To commemorate the 75th birthday of our beloved chancellor DR Prabhakar Kore sir.We at NSS unit -4 KHER Institute of nursing sciences, Belagavi along with Dept.of Community Health Nursing Donated 75 Blankets to poor and needy people residing in slum area of Kanbargi villege, Belagavi.

KAHER institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, NSS Unit – 4 in collaboration with Periodontal department from VK Dental College KAHER Belagavi. Conducted survey, free Dental check-up & health education program on oral hygiene for high school students at Vidyaniketan High school Gajapati village.Which is adopted by Govt of India under Azaadi ka Amrit mahotsav.

Around 300 students are benefited from the program. Dr shaila Kotiwale,& staff’s from periodontal dept Mrs. Namrata Devulkar NSS PO & staff’s from department of community health nursing & Mr. Ramesh patil Director of the school, Mr. Santosh Bandavgole social worker from Gajapati village were present during the function.
