KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi celebrated LAMP LIGHTING & OATH TAKING CEREMONY of 32nd Batch of GNM (Diploma in Nursing), 30th Batch of B.Sc (N) ( Degree Nursing) on 19th December 2019.

Prof. (Dr) Sudha Raddi, Dean Faculty of Nursing Principal, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi unfolded the theme of WHO 2020. “Year of the Nurse & Midwife” and welcomed the gathering.

Chief Guest for the function Dr. Vivek A Saoji, Vice Chancellor, KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, Belagavi expressed his views on “ Nursing profession is a long standing profession for courage & sacrifice”

Guest of honor Dr. M.V.Jali, MD & CEO, KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC, Belagavi, stated importance of the Samarpana& Lamp Lighting & oath taking for nurses & he also conveyed the message of “ Truthfullness, Righteousness & Spiritual discipline” for new nursing students. Dr.(Mrs). Meenaxi R. Devangmath, Principal, Yash foundation college of Nursing & Medical Research Institute, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra given the message of Helping hands and skills are very important for nurses. Dr. R.S.Mudhol, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, JNMC,KAHER, Belagavi conveyed the message is Nursing services is very big service in health care industry and nursing profession is the best profession.

Dr. V.A.Kothiwale, Registrar, KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, Belagavi in his presidential remarks mentioned that “ Because of good nurses, everything is good in the hospitals” & “ Service f mankind because of good nursing”.

100 B.Sc Nursing students & 96 GNM (Diploma) Nursing students were taken oath.

Mr ShivrajkimarDandgi, Asst Prof, Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi proposed the vote of thanks. Prof Sumitra L.A. Vice Principal, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi were present during the function. Total 600 Students, Faculty & guests were present in the programand the whole program was co ordinate by Student Nurses Association.
