Department of OBG Nursing along with NSS Unit-IV, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi conducted an awareness program on “Prevention and management of PCOS” among Adolescent girls of Government High School, Honaga on 16th December 2022.

Mrs. H. Gineta Chanu and Mrs. Shweta Dandagi, Faculty of Department of OBG Nursing, KAHER INS imparted education on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS): definition, incidence, risk factor, signs and symptoms, preventive measures, home remedies, medical management and complications of PCOS. Total 76 adolescent girls benefited from the event. After the programme, students with various menstrual issues clarified their doubt.
