KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, Department of OBG Nursing, along with NSS unit conducted Menopause Awareness Program followed by pamphlet distribution on menopause awareness on 21st December 2023 at Vantamuri PHC.

The awareness programme was delivered by Dr. Shweta Angadi, Senior tutor, Department of OBG Nursing. The awareness program included about orientation towards menopause, Phases of menopause, signs and symptoms of menopause, and detailed explanation regarding lifestyle modification was covered. Following the talk, the menopausal women were given time to discuss their concerns. The doubts and concerns of the women were clarified. The program came to an end by distribution of pamphlet on menopause management. The awareness program benefited a total of 37 menopausal women of Vantamuri village.
