Department of OBG Nursing, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi organized sensitization program on the topic “Early detection and prevention of Preeclampsia and Eclampsia” for the nursing officers working in Labour room and Maternity ward of Dr. Prabhakar Kore Charitable Hospital, Belagavi. The program was held on 15th December 2022.

The topics included are definition of eclampsia and preeclampsia, signs and symptoms, complications, warning or alarming signs, first aid in case of eclampsia outside the hospital and management at hospital. Total of 27 Nursing officers attended the program and benefitted with this event. Faculty from Dept. of OBG nursing participated actively in organizing this event.
