Report on Annual Day NYASSA (07/06/2024)
KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi, organized the annual day “NYASSA-2024—Healing Through Touch” on June 7, 2024, at KLE convention centre, Belagavi. Prof.(Dr). Veereshkumar Nandgaon, Principal, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi, presented the college annual report 2023–2024. During the event, NYASA Magazine 2024 and the DONE EDU newsletter were released by the dignitaries and also felicitated the guests. The chief guest for the function Dr. C.M. Thyagaraja, Vice-Chancellor, Rani Channamma University. Belagavi congratulated the students for their achievements, said that life always stands for contribution to the world, and motivated the students to spend their journey towards the betterment of society. He also pointed out that passion for knowledge, serving society, and kindness should be the eternal aspects of human life. The guest of honor Dr. Suhas Kumar Shetty, Principal, KLE Shri BM Kankanawadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Belagavi. He expressed his views on the nursing profession and said that the environment within our self-like thoughts and food habits are important in serving society.
Dr. Nitin Gangane, Vice-Chancellor, KAHER, Belagavi, in his presidential remarks, appreciated the students and faculty, said nursing college is one of the best institutions in the country, and also stressed that quality of health care entirely depends on nurses. He guided the students to be good human beings and caregivers. Meritorious students of GNM, BSc, PBBSc, and MSc Nursing and those who participated in extracurricular activities were awarded for their various achievements with medals and certificates. Dr. Sangeeta Kharde, Vice Principal, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi, welcomed and introduced the guests. Mrs. Babita Patil, SNA Advisor, proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. (Col) M. Dayananda, Medical Director, KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC, Belagavi, Dr. Preeti Bhupali, Dean and SNA Advisors were present during the function. The function ended by National Anthem.
