Department of Nursing Foundations, KLE University’s Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi organized a one day workshop on “First Aid” on 12TH March 2020for KLE Graduate School of Hotel Management And Catering Technology, Belagavi. The workshop considered & highlighted the goal of the First Aid training for KLE Graduate School of Hotel Management And Catering Technology Students and Teachers, There were totally 20 number of participants for the workshop.

The Scientific sessions began at 9am. In the first session Mr. Ashok K., Associate Professor, Department of Nursing Foundations, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, delivered an expert lecture on “Introduction of First Aid” and “Fracture”. The second session of lecture was on “Wound and Wound Dressing, which was delivered by Ms. Rajashree K. senior tutor, Department of Nursing Foundations, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi,Mr. Manjunath S. Assistant professor, Department of Nursing Foundations, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, rendered an expert lecture & demonstration on Cardio pulmonary resuscitation, Mrs. Laxmi K. senior tutor Department of Nursing Foundations, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, rendered a lecture on “Burns &Bandages.

In the post lunch session the demonstration of the first aid procedures by all resource persons. Followed by group activities by the participants. All the expert lectures were well appreciated by all the participants who were beneficial for them in the knowledge & practice aspects in the field. The workshop sessions ended at 4.00pm. The valedictory function is held at 4.30pm Mr. Ashok K.Asso Prof & HOD Dept of nursing foundations,Mr.Manjunath S. Asst Prof, MrsLaxmi K., Senior Tutor Miss. Rajashree K., Senior Tutor, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, andKLE Graduate School of Hotel Management And Catering Technology, Belagavi Teachers and Students were presented.
