KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi celebrated Nurses week on 9th, 11th and 12th May 2023, with full enthusiasm and all the students participated actively in the celebrations. The celebration was guarded by the presence of the SNA advisors, office bearers and students. The function started at 5:30 pm. The MOC’s for the event Ms. Stacia, Ms. Vanessa, Ms. Loria, Ms. Anisha and Ms. Aleta who welcomed everyone gathered for the event.

The programme started on 9th May 2023 the theme decided was “mismatch day”, all the students dressed accordingly and had a lot of fun. Adding to the event without wasting any time competitions were organised for all the students, competitions like fireless cooking, painting competitions, mehandi, videography, fashion show and essay writing. All the students actively participated with lot of energy and enthusiasm. Everyone had a lot of fun at the end of the event.

Prizes were awarded to the winners and spot prizes were held also music was played and all the students danced joyfully. The event was a grand success. On 11th May 2023 the theme decided was “Bollywood day”. All the students dressed in different attire and everyone participated with full enthusiasm in all the activities such as flash mob, solo and group dance, solo singing, fashion show and games like musical chair, lemon and spoon and many more. On 12th May 2023 Blood donation camp was held which was organised by Youth Red Cross Wing at 10am in the Fundamental Nursing Lab, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi and a lot of faculties and students came forward to donate blood which was followed by the formal function was held in the Seminar hall to celebrate the occasion on International Nurses Day 2023.
