KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi, Department of OBG Nursing, organised Pane Discussion on “Inspire Inclusion” On the eve of International Women’s Day on 9th March 2024 atSeminar hall of KAHER INS Belagavi. Panel Discussion started at 11.00am with welcome speech by Dr. Shweta Angadi, Senior tutor, Department of OBG Nursing, Dr. Uma Kole, Asst Prof. Dept of OBG Nursing, Mrs. Gineta Patil, Asst Prof. Dept of OBG Nursing, Mrs. Babita Belagunkar, Senior tutor, Dept of OBG Nursing were the panellists and they spoke on Women in Entrepreneurship, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, Mental Health and Well-being of Women respectively. Dr. Shweta Angadi, Senior tutor, Department of OBG Nursing moderated the panel discussion, which was conducted in 3 rounds of questions.

Following the discussion, the students were given time to discuss their concerns. The doubts and concerns of the students were clarified. Then certificates of appreciation were conferred to the panellists and the moderator. Also the certificates were distributed for the prize winners of the essay competition which was conducted on 14th February as a part of gender equality event. The program came to an end at 112.45 pm by vote of thanks by Dr. Shweta Angadi, Senior tutor, Department of OBG Nursing. A total of 138 female diploma nursing students and departmental faculties were the beneficiaries of the programme.
