KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi and Student Council of the institute celebrated 72nd Republic Day on 26th January 2021 with great enthusiasm. All the Staffs gathered at 8.30 am in the college premises. Flag hoisting was done by Chief Guest Dr. M.V. Jali, Medical Director & CEO KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC, Belagavi and Dr. Sudha A Raddi, Principal, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi. After flag hosting, Dr. M.V. Jali addressed the students regarding patriotism and importance of being patriotic. Dr Sudha Raddi addressed the faculty and students regarding the importance of celebration and youngster’s role in forming the healthy society.

On the occasion of Republic Day, the Student Nurses Association team of the institute organized competitions on Rangoli, Face painting and Quiz to enhance patriotism; and the prizes were distributed to the winners of respective events after the Flag hoisting ceremony. Students of B.Sc 4th year sung a patriotic song on this occasion. The Celebration ended by distribution of sweets to students.

Dr. Sudha A Raddi and Dr M.V Jali released Alumni newsletter “Splice 2021” and “EDU newsletter” and “Calendar of events” of Department of Nursing education. In view of spread of Covid-19 Pandemic, all faculty members and students followed certain preventive measures such as wearing mask and social distancing.
