Department of OBG Nursing , KAHER Institute of Nursing sciences organized Awareness and Anemia Screening Program for BSc 1   ^st year Nursing Students in September 2023 .

As part of awareness lecture was organized on Nutritional Management of Anemia, on 12   ^th September 2023 at 3pm for BSc 1   ^st year Students. Dr Harpreet Kour, Associate Professor, Department of Physiology , JNMC Belagavi also Assistant Registrar , KAHER and mam is also Director, Samagara Wellness Clinic Belagavi . Madam delivered lecture on components of blood, how iron is essential in body and what complications are confronted when decreased hemoglobin level in human, madam also included about importance of diet id daily routine and what foods to be taken and not for better absorption of iron. At the end many students asked question and was clarified.

Anemia Screening Program for BSc 1   ^st year Nursing Students was organized at Urban Primary Health Center ,Muttyanatti , Belagavi on 16   ^th September 2023. Hemoglobin estimation was done by Sahil’s method. 106 BSc 1   ^styear Nursing Students were benefited.
