Department of Nursing Education (DONE) KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi organised AV Aids Exhibition / Competition on 24th and 25th May 2023. The event was inaugurated by Hon. Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Gangane, KAHER, Belagavi, Dr. Veereshkumar Nandgaon, Principal, Dr. Sangeeta Kharde Vice Principal, HOD’s and all faculties were present.

The unique feature of the exhibition was that all were working models which were made out of waste /recycled material. The UG and PG batches of KAHER INS participated in exhibition /competition. The judges were Dr. Rajshekhar Somanatti, Clinical Administrator, Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital, Belagavi and Dr. Honnagouda Patil, Asso Prof, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi. Over 150 nursing students from KLE Centenary College of Nursing and BIMS College of Nursing BSc witnessed the exhibition . Students got live demonstration and experience on working models of Anatomy and Physiology of Heart, Ear, Eye and Lungs, Effects of radiation therapy in cancer patients, Ryles tube insertion, Breast Self-examination (BSE) and lactation management, Brain stroke and Embolism, Mechanism of CPR Model, Cardiac Catheterization, Intubation and various community related models which were demonstrated by students which was very impressive. Prizes were given to winners by Hon. Vice Chancellor. Sir appreciated and motivated the students.
