Department of Nursing Education (DONE), KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences organized Finishing School for Final Year B.Sc students from 29th July 2021 to 4th August 2021. Department of Medical Surgical Nursing and Nursing Foundation Department, KAHER, Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi conducted sessions on Basic nursing procedures and Advance nursing procedures i.e., nasogastric tube insertion and feeding, drug administration, Intramuscular / intravascular injection and vital signs and Basic Life Support. During the skill drill session, the students were trained in groups, social distancing was maintained for demonstration and re-demonstration in Fundamentals lab and Advance skill lab. Training on NABH and infection control activities by NABH and infection control team of KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital and MRC, Belagavi.

Life skill training was conducted by NSS Coordinator Dr Ashwini N, Dr Nagaraj, Dr Sayeed K and Dr Snehal D trained the students with different activities. Career Counseling was given Virtually on Go To Meeting by Mrs. Prerana Kallannavar and Shridevi Kerimath, Study Plus, Belagavi .Total 98 students were beneficiaries.
