Student Induction Programme (SIP) – “Deeksharambh” 2025-26
KAHER, Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi conducted Student Induction Programme(SIP) – “Deeksharambh”- 2025 for students admitted to the B.Sc. Nursing course for the year 2025-2026 from 4th August to 9th August 2025 through blended mode.
During this one week of the induction program, the newly joined students of BSc Nursing were inducted into the overall activities of the college as well as KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research, Deemed-to-be-University.
Dr. Veereshkumar Nandagaon Principal KAHER, INS Belagavi, briefed about the college mission, vision, and academic structure and (Semester pattern), HODs of all department and Faculty members were present during the occasion.
The induction programme was continued for one week with subjects orientation, information regarding online submission of the anti-ragging declaration by students and parents, disciplinary measures, Student Nurses Association (SNA) activities, IPR & Communication, mentorship programme, NSS activities, examination & internal Assessment Pattern, use of technology in nursing and library orientation to the newly joined students.
The orientation program was concluded with a lecture on Mentoring with Universal Human Values by Dr. Sangeeta Kharde, Dean followed by maintenance of personal health and reporting sick instructions by Dr. Preeti Bhupali Vice Principal KAHER, INS
A total of 106 first-semester BSc nursing newly admitted students attended and were benefitted from this induction program.
