On the occasion of Global Fatty Liver Day, the Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, in collaboration with the Department of Gastroenterology at KLE’s Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC, Belagavi, organized a one-day awareness programme on 16 June 2025 at the hospital’s Gastro OPD. The programme aimed to raise awareness about liver health and encourage proactive screening for liver-related conditions. The health camp was supported by Dr. Santosh Hajare, MD, DNB (Gastroenterology and Hepatology), and benefited 236 people.
