The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, organized a one-day Oral Hygiene Awareness Programme on 2 August 2025 at Rukmini Nagar, Belagavi. The 40-minute programme aimed to educate and motivate individuals to practise proper oral hygiene to help prevent dental caries, periodontal disease, and other oral health problems, improving overall quality of life. Activities included a health camp, distribution of toothpaste, and oral health education using charts and pamphlets. Twelve students and two teachers participated, and the programme reached 110 schoolchildren.
