The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing organized an Essay Competition on “Gender Equality” on 26th September 2026 at KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi. The programme was conducted for one day from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the institute premises. The objective of the programme was to encourage students to express their creativity, ideas, and perspectives on gender equality and to reinforce the importance of equal rights and opportunities for all genders. A total of 15 B.Sc. Nursing students actively participated in the competition and showcased their thoughts through impactful essays. To appreciate and encourage their efforts, the best entries were awarded. Two teachers were also involved in organizing and supporting the programme. The event was engaging and inspiring and helped students develop greater awareness about the importance of gender equality in society.
