KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi Department of Nursing Foundation conducted a workshop on “First Aid training” on 15 ^th July 2025 for the working staff of Belagavi Railway Station, Karnataka. The workshop sessions started with Introduction to First aid, management of Client with Minor Injury using a First Aid Kit, and demonstration of different types of bandages, followed by session on CPR where a lecture on CPR and Demonstration was done with “CPR Annie” Dummy.

Introduction was done by Dr. Manjunath Sogalad Asso. Professor & HOD Dept of Nursing Foundation, continued with method of Dressing demonstrated by Mr. Sumeet Shinde Asst Professor, followed by demonstration on different types of bandages done by Miss. Daya Gaikwad Junior Tutor and Mrs. Navelin Dsouza Junior Tutor. Demonstration of CPR was done by all the 4 faculties. The workshop considered & highlighted the goal of the First Aid training for all the working staff. Around 30 employees benefitted.
